A Place To Belong
The song Ella sings at the Lighthouse comes from a distant memory. It doesn't describe her life at the Lighthouse, but it does ring true for Barnes as well as many others who are not just characters in a book. Something Different
Apparently when you write a book, you must weave it around the core of what is known as a "felt need". This ambiguous "felt need" is something inside people that drives them to do whatever they do. If people feel the need for cake, they buy cake (or books about how to make cake). If people feel the need to be better at parenting, they buy parenting books (or books about how to make cake). Innately An Illustrator
I'm an illustrator. I hadn't realized that until just before writing it down. I didn't realize it, but the title and copyright pages of Anelthalien state that I illustrated the book. So, I am officially an illustrator . . . that's pretty neat. Just like I did not set out to become an author, I did not intend to become an illustrator.
